My LED button is flashing different colours! What does this mean?
The LED button is used to help you interact with your AVA Byte. Below is a comprehensive table of all the LED patterns and what they mean:

Sleep Mode: Tap once to enable. This will turn off the lights for up to an hour. To turn off sleep mode, press the button once and the lights will turn back on. |

Online Mode: Wi-Fi Connection Successful Offline Mode: To activate offline mode, triple tap the button quickly as you would double click a mouse, until it lights up solid green for 5 to 10 seconds. The recipe will automatically start 60 seconds after the button has been triple tapped. |

Wi-Fi Connection Error. Usual causes include incorrect Wi-Fi credentials or a weak connection. |
Flash Slow Purple | ![]() |
Update in Progress. It will automatically reboot once this is done. Do not unplug the Byte during this process. |
Solid Magenta | ![]() |
Byte is in de-provisioning mode. This will clear all user data. To access this mode touch and hold the LED button then double tap. Once the light turns magenta, touch and hold again to confirm. The LED button will then turn green to indicate success. |
