Connecting to your Amazon Alexa
- In the Alexa app home page, click “Browse Skills”
- Search “Ava Garden” and select it
- Click “Enable to Use”
- You will be taken to a browser to log into AVA. Connect with your account credentials
- If you are logged into AVA with your Apple ID, follow the following steps:
- Open the AVA Smart Garden App
- Tap on the Settings tab
- Scroll to the bottom, click on “Account”
- Click “Pair Alexa”
- Click “Generate”
- Copy and paste this code into browser opened by the Alexa app
- Click “Send with Code”
You are now linked! Ask your Alexa any questions about your garden!
Commands to try
"Talk to AVA Smart Garden"
Description: This opens the AVA Smart Garden and allows you to ask further questions. You can follow up with questions to discover what is being grown in your garden, when you will be ready for harvest, the temperature, humidity levels, any garden warnings or to take a picture of your plants.
“What’s growing in my garden?”, "What do I have in my garden?", or "What plants are growing in my garden?"
Description: Indicates to user what plants are currently growing in their AVA Smart Garden device. This action will list all the plants currently being grown in your device.
“When will my plants be ready?”, "Can I harvest my plants?", "When can I harvest?", "When can I harvest my plants?", or "Is it tie to harvest my plants?"
Description: This action will list off each plant and how much longer until the plants will be ready for full harvest.
“How is my garden?”, "How are my pods?", "How are my plants?", "How is my AVA Byte?", or "How is my Byte?"
Description: This informs the user how their garden is performing. Including temperature levels, humidity levels, water levels, light levels. If there are any issues or warnings this will be indicated.
“Are my pods too cold/hot/dry/humid?”
Description: This informs users the temperature and humidity levels of their garden. It will indicate if the garden is too cold, too hot, too dry or too humid.
