For the following pod packs, liquid nutrients are included:
- Flower Power Salad
- Blossom Bouquet
- Baking with Blossoms
- Winter Greens
- Mixed Salad Greens
Each pod pack will come with a variety of bottles of liquid nutrients (ranging from 1 to 3 bottles) and should be added to the water of the reservoir once a week from weeks 1-8 of growth. The 3 nutrient types are for root development, vegetation, and flowering.
It is recommended that you add water to your reservoir after adding the nutrients to ensure that the water level stays at the optimal level. For best results, use room temperature and filtered water.
Step 1
Gather the nutrient bottles, the AVA Byte, and a teaspoon.
Step 2
Refer to your pod pack's nutrient calendar to know how many teaspoons of each nutrient you'll need to add to the water. Lift the entire tray or one of your pods (select the plant with the smallest roots to not damage roots) out of the tray and squeeze the required amount of the nutrients into the spoon and pour it into the reservoir. Due to the pump running on a daily basis, mixing or stirring the nutrients is not necessary.
- Make sure to store the bottles out of direct sunlight and in room temperature
- Ensure the lid is tightly sealed before storing
* Teaspoon not included. We recommend using a separate spoon for the nutrients or to wash the spoon thoroughly before using it to eat. Keep the nutrients away from children.
